Get a behind the scenes look at the scientific testing techniques and instrumentation used in materials characterization (i.e. alloy identification), failure analysis, production lot testing and more. Highlights will be featured from Constellation Technology Corporation’s chemical, mechanical and non destructive testing history.

Lodewijk van den Berg will recount his experiences on the 1985 STS-51B Space Shuttle Challenger mission for which he was a payload specialist followed by a brief presentation and tour of our laboratory to shed some light on the sophisticated equipment used to evaluate materials ranging from household to aerospace applications.

This will be a joint tour with the Bay Area Manufacturers Association (BAMA). Dinner is included however seating is limited so please register early!
